The space
What is The Workshop?
A Victorian workshop, est. 1898, converted into six private offices in Cheadle Hulme. It is a small building of individual rooms behind a gated courtyard, not a serviced office floor.
What are the offices actually like?
Each office is a private room with its own key, not a partitioned corner of an open plan floor. The rooms are bright and freshly finished, some with exposed brick; the beams and the Crittall-style partitions run through the shared spaces around them.
How many offices are there, and how big are they?
Six offices, each suited to a team of about four to six people. Exact sizes and desk plans are confirmed at the viewing. Every office is listed on the offices and pricing page.
Are the offices furnished?
Tell us how your team works and we will confirm exactly what comes with the office you are looking at, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Is there a kitchen, and somewhere to sit away from your desk?
Yes - a shared kitchen and a breakout area away from the offices.
Costs and terms
What is included in the price?
One figure covers the office and the shared spaces. The full inclusion list is on the offices and pricing page and confirmed in writing before you sign.
How much is an office?
Ask us about a specific office and we will give you the figure and what it covers. The price is for the whole office, not per desk.
What is the minimum term?
We keep terms simple and short. Tell us how long you want and we will confirm the current minimum term and notice period in writing.
Is there a deposit?
Anything payable up front is set out in your written terms before any money changes hands.
What is the WiFi like?
WiFi is provided throughout the building and is included. Ask us for the current speed and we will send you a real test result rather than an adjective.
Viewings and access
How do I arrange a viewing?
Email hello@theworkshophq.co.uk or send the form on the contact page, with a rough idea of your team size and when you would like to come. We reply within one working day.
Can I get in outside normal working hours?
Your office is yours and you hold the key. Tell us the hours your team actually works and we will confirm the access arrangement before you sign.
How secure is the building?
The courtyard is gated and entry is by camera intercom. Every office is key-locked and private, so your kit and your paperwork stay behind your own door.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking on site. The number of spaces and how they are allocated between the offices is confirmed on enquiry.
Where is it, and how do I get there?
At the rear of 10 Ravenoak Road, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7DL - a 10 minute walk from Cheadle Hulme station. Walking directions and a map link are on the contact page.
